Reggae Boyz pull out a win against Haiti
FT. LAUDERDALE – The Reggae Boyz avoid a loss to Haiti in a international friendly with Haiti at Lockhart Stadium on Saturday night.
Jamaica’s Damion Stewart’s scored in the 88th minute with a diving header for a goal off a 35-yard free kick by Oraine Simpson and prevented a upset for the Reggae Boyz.
Jamaica scored first on a goal by Nicholas Adderley in the 29th minute and Haiti tied it in the 39th minute with a left cross from Jean Robens Jerome.
Haiti’s Jeonol Saint Preux scored in the 65th minute to give Haiti a 2-1 lead over Jamaica.
The match provided the Teams with a chance to play some warm-up games ahead of the CONCACAF Gold Cup which runs from July 3-26 in 13 US cities.
