Prime Minister PJ Patterson was on hand for the June 3rd groundbreaking ceremony for the extension of Caribbean Food Delights expansion to accommodate its JerkQ’zine Caribbean Grille franchise.
Reverend Samuel Vassell said the prayer over the spot which would symbolize the ground breaking for the extension. Taking part in this historic function was the Prime Minister, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent HoSang and Miss Sabrina HoSang. The popular Jamaican ritual of sprinkling rum and white rice at the spot was done by Mr. Hosang. Hon. P.J. Patterson congratulated and praised the HoSangs for their contributions not only in North America but in their homeland, Jamaica and wished them health and continuing success.
With a running commentary from the man whose vision became reality, Vincent HoSang, Prime Minister PJ Patterson and his entourage was given an extensive tour of Caribbean Food Delights. The tour was done leisurely and the visitors were awestricken not only by the operation but with the efficient, confident manner in which each person performed.
The launching of JerkQ’zine and the groundbreaking of CFD’s expansion took place and now the journey continues as they will host two franchise seminars in Florida. The first will be in Orlando on Friday, June 24 at the Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport and the second one in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, June 25 at Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale Airport Hotel. Both seminars will begin at 6pm and conclude at 9pm.
