Officials From Panama and The Bahamas Leading an Economic Investment initiative for Latin American, African, and Caribbean Countries

NASSAU, Bahamas – Officials from Panama and The Bahamas are leading an Economic Investment initiative for Latin American, African, and Caribbean Countries. The Initiative will address “How  to Transform Economies through Global Platforms.”

Dr. J’Ramando Horton, Economic Development Consultant, CEO of Bentley Coaching Institute and Symposium Development Strategist for (IEITDS) in conjunction with Mrs. Melida Harris Barrow, International Business Consultant, President/CEO, Panama World Trade & Investment Foundation (PWTIF) and recently nominated Universal Peace Ambassador of Panama have joined together to organize the International Economic Investment & Trade Development Symposium at SuperClubs Breezes Resort & Spa in Nassau, Bahamas on February 5 & 6. The Symposium convenes business developers, investors, governmental leaders, bankers, academicians and technocrats in a forum to share insights and trends in the Caribbean, Europe Latin America, Asia and Africa and their role in engaging global markets and will focus on “Engaging Global Markets Through Entrepreneurialship, Investment, Trade, and Tourism Platforms”. As Dr. Horton expressed “Our endeavor is to bring as many countries as possible to this Symposium and enhance this forum with diverse perspectives from many nations’’.

It aims to facilitate B2B Meetings and networking opportunities for delegates, entrepreneurs, business developers and investors from many countries and sessions will emphasize business opportunities in Panama, Bahamas, San Andres, Guyana, Haiti and other countries thus Mrs. Harris Barrow stated “IEITDS will be a forum which will offer new opportunities for global exchange in new regions like the Caribbean, Asia, Latin America and Africa”.

Aside from outstanding panelists inclusive of officials, industry professionals, business leaders, international investors, financial and lending institutions and heads of organizations that play an important role in strengthening International Economies, tourism, trade development and investment platforms, the forum will be addressed by Her Excellency Governor Aury Guerrero Bowie of San Andres Island, Colombia, Mrs. Melida A. Harris Barrow President/CEO of Panama World Trade & Investment Foundation, Mr. Johnny Armand, Haiti Commercial Attache, Hon Khaalis Rolle, Minister of State for Investment in The Office of The Prime Minister in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Mrs. Nadgee Bonilla Director of Tourism for Panama, Dr. Kevin Storr, Associate Professor of Psychics at Prairie View A&M University, Texas, Ms. Michell Espinosa , Economist for Panama Chamber of Commerce of Industries & Agriculture, Mr. Edison Sumner, CEO/President of The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ridvan Gurkan, International Investor & Entrepreneur, Turkey, and Mr. Leo A. Gonzalez Administrator of Panama Pacifico, Key Experts from iChange Nations (ICN), Official Delegates from Africa, Brazil, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, The Republic of Guyana and China among others. Panama’s Consul General to the Bahamas, Mr. David McGrath is also collaborating with the organizers on this event.

One of the major highlights at the conclusion of this premiere event on February 6th  will be the hosting of an Honorary Awards Ceremony conducted by iChange Nations and The Golden Rule Award Initiative and The Investors Networking Reception.

The sage comment made by late U.S. President Franklyn D. Roosevelt “Competition has been shown to be useful up to a certain point and no further, but cooperation, which is the thing we must strive for today, begins where competition leaves off” is clearly applicable in today’s global environment.
