One Guyana Air Travel & Eastern Airlines Put On Non-Stop Charter Flights To Guyana For 50th Independence Anniversary
MIAMI – Guyanese in Florida and other US states now have an additional option in airline travel to Guyana for the Golden Jubilee Independence celebrations in May 2016.
One Guyana Air Travel in collaboration with Eastern Air Lines will offer nonstop flights from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana on May 20, returning on May 31st to celebrate Guyana 50th Anniversary, with twice weekly service from July 1 through September 11, 2016.
Due to the overwhelming demand for passenger air transport to Guyana for the 50th Independence anniversary celebrations, One Guyana Air Travel through TRAVELSPAN and other Travel companies will collaborate to meet the demand of the travelling public who are excited to be a part of this historic occasion or just visiting family and friends.
Sales and Marketing Director Chaitram Persaud at One Guyana Air, says “we are very happy that we can provide airlift to Guyanese who wish to travel for this special celebrations, have the opportunity to do so. One Guyana Air already has its US DOT Approval for flight operations, and has submitted its application to the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority. The departure and arrival times to and from Miami have been planned to facilitate convenient connections for passengers travelling from other major cities in the continental United States, Canadian and European cities. .

MAY 20 depart at MIA 11:50AM and arrive GEO at 3:40PM
MAY 31 depart at GEO 10:00AM and arrive MIA at 2:00PM
From July 01 – Sept 11, the Non-stop Flights will be every:
Monday & Friday Miami to Guyana (same times as above)
Sunday & Tuesday Guyana to Miami (same times as above)
MAY 21 depart at JFK 1:30AM and arrive GEO at 6:35AM
MAY 30 depart at GEO 5:00PM and arrive JFK at 10:30PM
From July 01 – Sept 11, the Non-stop Flights will be every:
Sunday, Tuesday & Saturday New York to Guyana (same times as above)
Monday, Friday & Saturday Guyana to New York (same times as above)
