Miami-Dade County International Trade Consortium travels to the Caribbean

The Jay Malina International Trade Consortium of Miami-Dade County (ITC) is planning two trips this summer to the Caribbean. The objective of these business development missions is to develop new relationships and increase the two-way trade between Miami-Dade County and the Caribbean nations.

Starting in June, ITC will be conducting under the auspices of the Miami-Dade Sister Cities program, a Business Development Mission to the Turks & Caicos Islands from June 8-12th. The mission is headed by the Honorable Dr. Barbara Carey-Shuler, Commissioner, Miami-Dade County, Dist. # 3. ITC is planning a Business Development Mission under its Caribbean Trade Initiative (CTI) to the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, and the twin island nation of Antigua and Barbuda from July 18-23rd. The visit to St. Kitts & Nevis will take place from July 18-20 and Antigua and Barbuda from July 20-23. The mission is headed by the Honorable Jose “Pepe” Diaz, Commissioner, Miami-Dade County, Dist. # 12.
