MIAMI – Leadership Miami is currently looking for participants by bringing together 120 of Miami-Dade County’s emerging leaders to gain knowledge of how the community works.
Leadership Miami is an annual program sponsored by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, South Florida Progress Foundation and several of Miami-Dade County’s premier companies, local agencies and corporations.
The program is targeted toward men and women committed to making our community the best it can be. The program offers its members the opportunity to meet Miami’s leaders and to share an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills.
Leadership Miami is an extremely valuable investment that you can make in the future of your community and will benefit any business looking to grow.
Program Details
The program runs from the end of October to the beginning of May of the following year. There is a focus session on the first Saturday of each month after the two-day Opening Conference in October.
The participants are divided into six groups and each group will complete a community service project of their choosing by graduation. In addition, fieldwork is assigned to give you further insight into the South Florida community.
