As a prelude game to the Bank of America World Youth Netball Championships, the top-ranked South African Under 21 Netball Team takes on local competitors in Lauderdale Lakes tonight.
The teams will match up at 7:30 p.m., at the outdoor netball courts located at Vincent Torres Memorial Park, 4331 NW 36th Street, Lauderdale Lakes.
This July, Broward County will play host to National Youth Netball Teams from 20 countries, as they compete in the Bank of America World Youth Netball Championships. The WYN Championships will run for eleven days — from July 21 through July 31, 2005 at the Broward County Convention Center.
The Championships are anticipated to bring a huge influx of visitors from all over the world to the Broward County. This year’s Championships will be historic, since this marks the first time that they are being played in the United States.
