Kingston City Run Promotion To Benefit A Jamaica HS Alumni In South Florida
SOUTH FLORIDA – Kingston City Run is partnering with Pat Montague Marketing and Promotions to garner support for runners to compete in the half marathon, 10K and 5K race on Sunday, March 13th in Kingston, Jamaica. The partnership will include South Florida Radio Personality, Pat Montague running the ½ marathon at the event.

The Kingston City Run promotion is being promoted with a vibrant radio campaign which will involve daily radio ads, an interview with KCR organizers, participants and sponsors each Friday at 1:40pm on WAVS Radio and a social media campaign with postings of photos of the PMMP team as they train for the race.
Individual participants who sign up for the Kingston City Run race as part of the Pat Montague Marketing team PM Funrunners will be registered to win a Kingston City Run Signature Logo gift package and the Jamaica High School Alumni with the most runners signed up through the PMMP team will get a $500 donation from KCR to their alma mater.
In addition to the race, there will be a host of weekend activities that includes the Bacchanal Welcome Party (March 11) at the famous Mas Camp, and the Lifestyle Experience Expo and pre-race party (March 12).
Nicola Madden-Greig Co-Chairman of the Kingston City Run said the vision is to grow the event to provide a major economic boost for Kingston while supporting the less fortunate.
In remarks at the press launch in Jamaica, Madden-Greig said “We encourage all overseas Jamaicans and lovers of Jamaica in particular, to join us in Kingston for March 11 – 13, either by participating in the events, entering as an individual, group or corporate team and/or supporting our charities by making a donation”.
Proceeds from the Kingston City Run will go towards supporting the homeless and vulnerable through five main charities, Open Arm Drop-In Shelter, Marie Atkins Night Shelter, Food for the Poor, The Missionaries of the Poor and the Alpha Boys Institute.
