KINGSTON, Jamaica – The world renowned JN Money Transfer (JNMT) brand and retail company Sampars Cash and Carry have partnered to assist families in the Diaspora to “send bun and cheese for their loved ones locally,” during the Easter holiday season.

The service starts on April 2, 2015 and will be available through April 17. Sampars, which has three locations in the Corporate Area, Spaulding, Clarendon and Mandeville Manchester, will also deliver the bun and cheese to the recipients.

“JN Money Transfer continues to introduce innovative ways for its clients in the Diaspora to connect with their loved ones at home during special seasons,” said Leesa Kow, general manager, of JN Money Services (JNMS), owners and operators of the JNMT brand.

Miss Kow noted that the new product is part of the Sampars Cash and Carry and JN Money Transfer service which allows persons overseas to purchase groceries in Jamaica through JN Money Transfer. Remitters can also make utility payments through the company in addition to paying school fees, mortgages and other bills via the remittance company.

“This is also in keeping with our ‘It’s Love Well Sent’ theme, which sees families helping out loved ones in times of need and on special occasions,” she added, noting that most of the funds remitted to Jamaica were used for consumption items, with some 18 percent used to purchase food items.

Miss Kow explained that persons overseas can simply visit a JN Money Transfer location to send Bun and Cheese to family in Jamaica.

“We are always trying to establish innovative ways to improve connections between Jamaicans locally with their relatives in the Diaspora. Pioneering ventures, such as this, enable us to refine those linkages; develop tangible partnerships; and improve the level of sophistication of doing business,” she emphasised. She also noted that the working together will contribute to expanding the customer base of JN Money Transfer and Sampars.
