Leesa Kow, General Manager at JN Money Services, owners and operators of the JN Money Transfer Brand, said the advertisement was designed to show how JN Money Transfer impacts the lives of many persons.

“We wanted to show that remittances are a lifeline for many persons in Jamaica; and helps with their day to day expenses and emergencies,” Miss Kow said.

She pointed out that a report from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) indicates that some ten million families in Latin America and the Caribbean rely on funds from abroad to fend off poverty.

“That same report states that remittances assist households to maintain their consumption levels, through economic shocks and adversity; and supports vital investments in education, health and entrepreneurship” she noted, indicating that, “In this campaign we wanted to demonstrate how remittances come to the assistance of many families in times of real need.”

In respect of its previous campaigns, JN Money Services highlighted the efficiency that JN Money Transfer had achieved in its transmission of remittances.  And, the company also focused on the “love theme,” which demonstrated the patriotism of Jamaicans in the Diaspora; and their love of family.

However, the new campaign was influenced by research, which led the company to show specific ways in which many Jamaicans relate to their family and specific needs; and, maintained the love theme in a different way.

Miss Kow stated that based on the reactions, the campaign is achieving its objective to show the strong bonds between Jamaicans; and, demonstrating the real effect of JN Money Transfer services on the lifestyles of many families.

“We are happy that ‘It’s Love Well Sent’ has appealed to our customers and others; it simply shows that if you tell a story most people can relate to, it makes a difference going forward,” she maintained.
