Jamaica’s Sunset Beach Resort and The Oasis At Sunset Announce Management Deal With AMResorts

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica — Sunset Beach Resort, Spa and Waterpark and the Oasis at Sunset have reached a management agreement with AMResorts to operate the two hotels under its family-friendly Sunscape Resorts and Spas brand.

A carefully planned and integrated upgrade will begin in May 2015 to incorporate the Sunscape brand standards.  Guests will be able to fully enjoy the properties during the enhancement process.

“In today’s travel world of integration, mergers and big brands, it makes sense for us to align ourselves with a strong, reputable resort brand that will ensure the continued success of these two properties,” said Ian Kerr, managing director of Sunset Resorts.

“The ownership will not change, but the marketing reach will be far greater than we would have been able to achieve on our own.”

“Our repeat guests will experience the same warm service they have come to expect as our employees will move seamlessly into the Sunscape operation. They will be welcomed by the smiles of employees who have greeted them for years.”

AMResorts will officially assume operations of the Sunset Beach and the Oasis at Sunset on August 1, 2015, and the two hotels will continue under these names until the official rebranding in late 2015.

Sunset Resorts management and team will continue to operate Sunset at the Palms, a treehouse-style boutique hotel in Negril, Jamaica offering an exotic tropical retreat for adults only who are seeking rest and relaxation in the ‘Capital of Casual’.
