KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Governor General of Jamaica The Most Honourable Professor Kenneth Hall has been conferred with a Knighthood by the queen.
The government has been advised by Buckingham Palace that the Order will be formally gazetted on November 6.
Conferral of a Knighthood on Professor Hall is in keeping with the tradition in which previous Governors General, as representatives of the Queen, were similarly bestowed.
