The Jamaican Association of Dade Educators (JADE) will be hosting its eleventh Award Banquet and Dance at the German-American Social Club, located at 11919 SW 56 St. on May 7, at 9:00 P.M.
Professor Rex Nettleford will be the keynote speaker for the evening.
The Jamaican Association of Dade Educators (JADE) is a service and professional organization with one of its goals to foster educational excellence by involving students and recognizing outstanding scholars. Four scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded at the Award Banquet to high school graduates who will be attending college in the fall.
The cover charge will be $45 per person in advance and $50 at the door and a cash bar will also be available. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Cosmic Force will provide musical entertainment.
