Jamaica Tourist Board Hosts Top Selling Agents At White Affair Gala in Montego Bay

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) recently rewarded its top selling Jamaica vacation travel agents with a three-night getaway that included tours, world-class dining, shopping and more.  As part of JTB’s A One Love Rewards, travel agent specialists program, the top 50 agents from North America were flown to Jamaica and given the royal treatment at Secrets Resorts in Montego Bay. The vacation concluded with a special “All White Affair” gala where the top selling agents were presented with specially designed piece artwork by noted Jamaican artist Everald Powell.

Jamaica’s Director of Tourism Paul Pennicook lauded the group for their commitment to the island’s tourist industry. Deputy Director of Tourism, US Sales, Donnie Dawson and a host of Regional Directors and Business Development Managers from the U.S. and Canada were also in attendance to offer their congratulations.

Total Room Nights booked by the Top 50 agents was 93,699, which earned the industry in the region of US$25 million. The top three Jamaica Travel Specialists this year were Donna Daniels of Fox Travel, Texas; Sharon Campbell Little of Wedding & Honeymoon Travel, California and Susan Cianfarani of inStyle Vacations, Canada.
