GivingCancerTheFinger.com Launches Line Of T-Shirts Benefiting Cancer Charities

Miami – If you’ve ever had a loved one affected by cancer and wanted to say “F* Cancer!” in their support, GivingCancerTheFinger.com now lets you do just that with their new line of t-shirts.

Founded by Stacy Cumberbatch, a 30 year old Trinidadian native, the site www.givingcancerthefinger.com will feature a new limited edition Give Cancer The Finger branded tee each month, with $5 from each sale benefiting a featured cancer nonprofit each month.

Partnering with weSpark.org as their first charity, they’ve set a goal to raise $5,000 by the end of June from t-shirt sales to help weSpark continue to offer their free cancer support services to the community.

Following along in the tees for a cause model, the site offers a way for consumers to not only make a statement in support of their loved ones, but also support charity thru their purchase.

Each month a new design will be created specifically for the chosen charity, and at the end of the month, that design will be retired.
Cumberbatch discloses that the current style for the t shirts will vary month to month based on the artist and charity, but always with the Give Cancer The Finger theme, so there is a opportunity to collect a number of unique designs, perfect for t-shirt lovers and those who want to make a charitable impact thru a regular purchase. The goal is to introduce ongoing charitible involvment to a younger generation via a purchase that is part of their normal spending.

GivingCancerTheFinger.com was inspired out of events Cumberbatch and a friend threw in late 2011 where they came together with a group of friends and gave cancer the finger on camera to raise funds for charities. Though the events were successful, Cumberbatch began thinking there had to be a way to involve more people who wanted to also make a statement but couldn’t make it out to an event. That’s when the idea behind tees for a cause came about.

GivingCancerTheFinger.com is a t-shirt company launched in June 2012 as a way to make a statement against cancer and in support of love ones affected by the disease. For each tee purchased a donation is made to a partnering cancer non profit, with new limited edition tees and charities featured each month.
