Miami Foundation’s Public Space Challenge

This contest will help you rethink unused public spaces! The Miami Foundation is taking submissions for its 2018 Public Space Challenge, a contest for ideas that create, improve or activate local gathering places like parks, playgrounds, sidewalks, basketball courts and plazas in Greater Miami. Now in its sixth year, the Foundation invests $305,000 to make the top ideas a reality. Anyone can submit an idea to publicspacechallenge.org, through May 3rd. Individuals, groups, public agencies, religious organizations, nonprofits and private companies are all welcome to participate.
