Opening Reception of the 15th Annual African Presence Art Exhibition

      Nova Southeastern University will kick off its celebration of Black History Month with the Opening Reception of the 15th Annual African Presence Art Exhibition on Feb. 8, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Don Taft University Center.

      The evening includes refreshments, giveaways, musical entertainment by NSU’s Riff Tides acapella group, guest performers and more.

      The reception culminates with the viewing of the exhibition in the Cotilla Gallery, Alvin Sherman Library. The exhibition is open through March 12.

      This year’s exhibition, “Back to Black: African Diaspora Influences in Art and Culture,” features depictions of black cultural experiences by artists of African descent.
