The movie “Cry Cry” is about crime, corruption and cheating. It is a look at xenophobia in the Caribbean.

Even though we are supposed to be united as a region, migrants from each island faces discrimination and resentment when we move to another island. Foreigners get blame for all the crimes and even when we want to go to the police we are scared of the police themselves. Then along comes the politicians with all their promises: some want to build a wall or put us back on the ship while some wants us to vote for them. Thus we become pawns in the game of life.
