Sammy Figueroa and his Latin Jazz Explosion

      Grammy nominee, legendary percussionist, and radio personality Sammy Figueroa has long been regarded as one of the world’s great musicians. His band Jazz Explosion, sometimes referred to as “the Latin Yellowjackets,” is considered to be one of the most sophisticated examples of Latin jazz, combining the excitement of Latin rhythms with the beauty and precision of a Pat Metheny or Brad Mehldau.

      Appropriate for ages 7 and up. All patrons entering the theater require a ticket regardless of age. This includes children and infants. Contact the SMDCAC Box Office for details.
