Celebrate Reggae Month with us on Saturday, February 10 as we bring you a memorable fusion of education and entertainment.
Reggae Genealogy: The Origins, Evolution and Influence of Jamaican Music 🇯🇲🪇🎷 The showcase will feature live performances, video presentations, dance performances, as well as narratives presented by renowned personalities in the music industry.
An outdoor musical festival presented by Island SPACE Caribbean Museum.
Musical Performances by:
- Mykal Rose of Black Uhuru, the first band to receive a Grammy Award in the reggae music category.
- DJ GQ of Y100, playing a set showcasing the influence of reggae on today’s popular music genres.
- Reggae artist Yvad, former Wailers band lead vocalist, performing some of the genres greatest hits.
