Heroes of the Haitian Revolution Book and Art Tour

Join us as we celebrate the release of the new book Heroes of the Haitian Revolution by publisher Thorobred Books featuring author Frantz Derenoncourt, Jr. and illustrator Kervin Andre.

There will be a display of The Haitian Heroes and Sheroes Art Exhibition which features original paintings of our revered ancestors by talented artist Kervin Andre.

This tour stop includes a special appearance by Haitian historian and scholar Professor Bayyinah Bello.

Hear stories of how Haiti became the first independent black nation in the Americas and the heroes who fought, bled, and made the ultimate sacrifice.

This will be the 2nd collaboration project by Frantz and Kervin who brought you Sheroes of the Haitian Revolution in 2019.
