Discovery Cruise Line Launches Aggressive Rewards Program
FT. LAUDERDALE – The holiday season is fast approaching and Discovery Cruise Line is launching a $1500 Discovery Cash Savings program for full fare-paying adults just in time for its customers to enjoy real savings.
The program is effective November 15 and includes some of the finest retailers, restaurants, products and services. From cash savings on movie tickets, restaurants like Legal Seafood, to car rentals to retailers like Old Navy, Macy’s, Footlocker, Sally’s Beauty Supply to name a few. It’s $1500 in cash savings per couple to spend as you like.
How does it work? Simply book and pay for your Discovery Fun Day Cruise or Cruise ‘N Stay® package and you will be rewarded instantly. You can purchase items that will be shipped directly to your home or the recipients of your choice. You can also purchase gift cards with your $1500 Discovery Cash Savings per couple.
“We are excited that we can provide our customers with so much value. And the rewards program we chose also has a charity aspect that we like. Every Discovery Cash Savings issued to our customers also represents a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. We are delighted to be working with the South Florida Chapter to help raise money for research to help eliminate this terrible disease,” states Hanns Hahn, Vice President and General Manager of Discovery Cruise Line.
Discovery Cruise Line sails daily except Wednesdays to Grand Bahama Island. Guests on the cruises have plenty to enjoy, from the spacious sun decks, entertainment in several lounges, a game room, movies, and all beverages including non-alcoholic drinks and premium brand alcoholic drinks. On your cruise to Grand Bahama you will enjoy an all-you-can eat breakfast buffet that includes plenty to choose from, even an omelets station. There’s a lively dance and video room, Karaoke, deck games and more. Discovery also features a travel talk so guests can learn about the various activities they can experience during their time on the island. The return cruise features an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet. All of this is included in the cost of the cruise and it includes all costs, including taxes. There are no hidden fees. Optional amenities include a Las Vegas-Style casino, cabins, and Discovery’s very popular gourmet dinner at the Grand Bahama Grill.
“The beaches in the Bahamas are incredible, visiting the local stores and listening to the live local music in Count Basie Square is a really great experience. And, in these tough economic times, we wanted to give our clientele an opportunity to enjoy everything Discovery’s Fun Day Cruise has to offer without having to compromise on their holiday spending,” states Hanns Hahn.
Discovery Cruise Line sails out of Port Everglades, Florida and provides a central location for residents and visitors to the South Florida area. The cruise line changed its product earlier this year to provide an all-inclusive cruise with no additional costs to appeal to people who want to enjoy a different experience and not worry about all the add-on costs. “The all-inclusive product is so popular in destinations like Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and the Riviera Maya and we have been successful in selling vacation packages to Viva Wyndham, which is an all-inclusive resort in Grand Bahama. So we decided that becoming all-inclusive would provide a better guest experience and more repeat business. And it has,” states Hahn.
