Attorney Olivia Benson
In an effort to cater to its growing clientele in Broward County and to access other opportunities, delancyhill will host a reception in celebration of its establishment of a Miramar-Broward satellite office on Thursday, June 23, 2005, 6:30 p.m. at the Club at Sunset Lakes in West Miramar.
Attorney Olivia Benson, a former attorney with Popham Haik, now Carlton Fields, the former general counsel with the Universal Truth Center and the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc. and a ten-year solo-practitioner, will head the Miramar-Broward office under the auspices of her law practice.
Along with the support of the Miami office, Ms. Benson will specialize in the areas of general commercial and civil litigation, including landlord-tenant, debtor-creditor, and homeowners association matters. With regards to transactions, Ms. Benson will oversee real estate, land use and zoning matters.
Benson will also continue her practice specialty in handling affairs of various religious and church organizations.
Born in Colón, Republic of Panamá and a resident of Miramar, Ms. Benson is an alumni of the University of Miami schools of business and law and fluent in Spanish. She is a member of the Florida Bar, a Graduate of “Leadership Miami” Program-Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Pembroke Pines/Miramar Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau.
