VIEUX FORT, Saint Lucia – Saint Lucia’s Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa has been selected as a Good Housekeeping 2023 Family Travel Award Winner in the category Baby-Friendly Vacation. The resort caters to families in its Splash Wing and the CocoLand Kidz Klub is celebrated for welcoming infants to 12-year-olds.

Judges made up of Good Housekeeping Institute analysts and travel experts evaluated hundreds of products and travel experiences that make vacations easier and more enjoyable considering attributes most important when it comes to family travel, such as convenience, value, service, quality, safety, innovation, inclusion and more. Analysts visited cities, resorts and local attractions to provide first-hand feedback on their experiences and the Good Housekeeping Institute Labs also surveyed their proprietary panel and reviewed responses from over 3,000 consumers that had taken recent trips.

Premium All-Inclusive Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa provides family-friendly amenities and activities from mealtimes to entertainment including Lil’ Menus for kids, weekly Family Tie Dye, and the Turtle SCOUTS turtle watching program. Their CocoLand Kidz Klub features 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas including a Pirate Ship and zero-depth Water Playground. Babies are cared for in an air-conditioned napping room with cribs and playpens while older youngsters join one of three age-appropriate (3 and under, 4-7 and 8-12) SCOUTS (Seeing, Crafting, Observing, Understanding, Tasting, Saint Lucia) activity programs and receive a complimentary CocoPack backpack, while parents receive a local cell phone to stay in touch.

CocoLand Kidz Klub

The CocoLand Kidz Klub staff welcomes young guests 7 days a week during both day and evening hours. Daytime activities include finger painting, nature walks, Splash Time, a Lazy River Race, cooking lessons, crafting, sandcastle building, kite making and dance lessons. Kids 3 years of age or older also have the option of participating in evening activities Monday through Friday including Camp Night in Tents with Smores, Dinner and a Movie, Dinner and a Pajama Party, Karaoke and Glow Party, and a Hayride.
