Caribbean security firm hires former US Ambassador
Strategic Security Planners Ltd. Co. a Caribbean owned, Florida based consulting service firm which provides regional security and disaster management services announced the addition of former US Ambassador, Lionel Hurst to their distinguished list of consultants.
Speaking of behalf of the group, Major Stanley P. Ford Senior Partner and Regional Security Consultant of Strategic Security Planners (SSP) noted Ambassador Hurst’s distinguished career in Public Services and his total commitment to quality of life in the Caribbean. “Hurst is a welcomed addition to the SSP Group and to our overall mission of providing exceptional service to the region” states Ford.
Hurst, who presently hosts a Talk Show on ZDK Radio in Antigua, is the former Ambassador to the United States of America and Permanent Representative to The Organization of American States where he represented Antigua and Barbuda’s interests before the Executive and Legislative arms of the US Government.
His duties also included furthering the policy interests of Antigua and Barbuda before the Organization of American States. Hurst is recognized as an expert on natural disasters, small island-state security, and the global warming phenomenon.
