Celebrate National Voter Registration Day on September 27, 2016

In preparation for participation in National Voter Registration Day on September 27, 2016, FCSA has joined thousands of other businesses, organizations, election officials, schools and civic groups to elevate civic engagement and participation in our democratic process.

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is dedicated to ensuring every American is registered to vote at their current address in time for the next election.

FCSA will host voter registration activities and events on over 24 college campuses and communities across the State of Florida.

NVRD is led by a diverse, non-partisan group including the Bipartisan Policy Center, League of Women Voters, Bus Federation, Rock the Vote, Voto Latino, Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), Fair Elections Legal Network, Nonprofit VOTE, and National Association of Secretaries of State.

“We are committed to elevating our civic awareness and engagement as college students of Caribbean descent,” said FCSA president Karrie Garcia. “FCSA is proud to empower the awareness of NationalVoterRegistrationDay.org and assisting our members and their families to register to vote in person and online.”

To be eligible to register to vote, you must be 18 years old and a U.S. citizen.
