Caribbean-American Talk Show Personality to host Evening Of ‘Reasoning’

DAVIE – Prominent radio personality Winston Barnes, host of the popular talk show “Open Line” on WAVS 1170AM, will afford his audience an opportunity to interact and “reason” with him live in an open forum entitled An Evening with Winston.

This special evening will be an exchange of questions and answers and community discussions which will take place on Thursday, April 12, 6pm- to 9pm in the main ballroom at the Best Western Hotel in Plantation, 1711 N. University Drive, just South of Sunrise Boulevard.

An Evening with Winston is a direct response to the many requests from his varied audience and listeners of his program to dedicate more time to talk with the community outside of the constraint of his talk show, in an informal setting.

The event is being presented by Hi-Class Promotions, producers of the hugely popular Open Line, which airs on WAVS weekdays in conjunction with WAVS Radio. An Evening with Winston promises engaging dialogue that will have an extremely positive impact as Winston talks about personal experiences, family, religion, community issues and offers little known tid-bits about himself.

“Hi-Class Promotions has always been cognizant of Winston’s appeal and ability to reach a wide cross-section of our community. A forum of this nature with Winston is long overdue and we are pleased to be a part of this important milestone.” commented Winsome Charlton, vice-president of Hi-Class Promotions.

Admission is free to the public and everyone is urged to be on time as seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. Refreshment will be provided by Golden Krust of Pembroke Pines and Grace Foods.

An Evening with Winston is sponsored by Finlay’s Ship to the Caribbean, Jamaica National Building Society, Jamaica National Money Transfer, Dr. Alan Mandel, Chiropractor, Watson & Company, Brian International, Air Jamaica, Grace Foods, Capital & Credit Financial Network, and M. Gill & Associates.
