KINGSTON, NY – DOW Networks is the new name for Kingston-based Avoxi, a licensed telecommunications company that has been providing international services to Jamaica businesses since 2003.
DOW Networks acquired the assets of Avoxi Communications in December 2005 but continued to do business in Jamaica under the Axoxi brand. The name change to DOW Networks allows the company to go-to-market with the name of its parent company which also has offices in the US, Costa Rica and South Africa.
“DOW Networks has growing base of customers throughout the Caribbean and Latin America,” said David Wise, the company’s chief executive officer.
“Doing business in Jamaica as DOW Networks allows us to leverage the strength and growing awareness of the DOW Networks brand and better meet the needs of pan-Caribbean and other international companies.”
