MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – One of Jamaica’s most exciting golf tournaments, the 15th Annual Caribbean Golf Association Classic will be held in Montego Bay from May 12-16, 2010.

The annual event is played on three of Jamaica’s top golf courses, Cinnamon Hill Golf Course at Rose Hall Resort and Spa – A Hilton resort, White Witch Golf Course at the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall Golf and Spa Resort, and the Half Moon Golf Course at the Half Moon Resort. These fabulous golf courses are all within five minutes of each other and just 15 minutes away from Sangster International Airport. Highlights of the tournament include: three days of golf; opening ceremonies with cocktails and buffet dinner; a theme party; and a closing awards banquet. The deadline to enter into the tournament is April 15, 2010.

“The Caribbean Golf Association Classic allows golfers to play on three of the island’s top courses over a few days, so it is an opportunity not to be missed,” said John Lynch, Jamaica’s Director of Tourism. “It is a great introduction to Jamaica’s 12 challenging golf courses located across the island, so visitors have a lot of selection when it comes to a great golf vacation.”
