The Association has held panel discussions, symposiums, a book drive; fundraisers with Byron Lee, nostalgic camaraderie-producing social events, a fish fry, a car raffle, and banquets. But it has not all been fun, the Association has contributed thousands of dollars and offered scholarships to needy but gifted UWI students.
