Legacy Magazine’s Award: Five Jamaican women among South Florida’s most influential black women
SOUTH FLORIDA – Five Jamaican women were included in Legacy Magazine’s 25 Most Influential and Prominent Black Women in Business and Leadership in South Florida.
The Jamaican awardees included Attorney Dahlia Walker-Huntington; Catherine Foote Malcolm of Jerk Machine Inc., Florida State Representative, Hazelle Rogers, Joy Thomas, Market Manager of Grace Foods USA and Julie Mansfield, Entrepreneur and Author.. The women were recently honored (Sept. 18) at Legacy’s Award Luncheon at Morton’s Steak House in Ft. Lauderdale.
Established in 2004, Legacy Magazine serving Florida’s Black professional community with insightful articles and information on business, careers, politics, lifestyle, culture and social commentary. Through a distribution partnership with The Miami Herald, The Palm Beach Post, The Sun Sentinel and The Orlando Sentinel, Legacy is published and circulated as a bi-monthly supplement.
