Miami Broward Carnival Traffic Guide

MIAMI – The Miami Broward Carnival Traffic Guide will help the thousands expected to descend on Miami for the Carnival Parade and Festival at The Fairgrounds avoid the expected traffic delays.

The Miami Broward Carnival 2015 celebration of Caribbean culture takes place Sunday, October 11, at the Tamiami Park on the fairgrounds of the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition, 10901 Coral Way (SW 24th Street), Miami FL 33165.

Guests attending the event are advised to arrive early for the parade and festival, which attracted over 20,000 guests last year. The parade and festival, with over 20 masquerade bands and performing artists from the Caribbean region, will commence at 11a.m. and conclude at 11p.m.

FREE PARKING

Parking lot entrances and the entrance gates into the fairgrounds will be open at 9 a.m. Parking is free to the public. Patrons are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets online at miamibrowardcarnival.com to enjoy the best viewing experience of the Carnival inside the Fairgrounds. Tailgating and/or sale of food and beverage is strictly prohibited in all parking areas.

TRAFFIC DIRECTIONS

Entrance and exit will be allowed only on Coral Way (SW 24th Street) at SW 112th Avenue for westbound traffic and at SW 114th Avenue for eastbound traffic. Turnpike traffic is advised to take Exit 25 at SW 8th Street or Exit 23 at Bird Road 40th Street. During the period of the Carnival, SW 17th Street between SW107th Avenue and SW 117th Avenue will be closed.
