World-class Cricket Returns To Central Broward Regional Park

Tickets Still Available for Cricket Matches at Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium

LAUDERHILL World-class cricket returns to Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium in Lauderhill, which will host the 2016 HERO Caribbean Premier League from Thursday, July 28th through Sunday, July 31st.

The four-day event will include matches involving six teams: Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Trinbago Knight Riders, and Zouks.

The Saturday and Sunday matches are already sold out, but tickets still remain for the 7PM matches on Saturday and Sunday, which will pit Guyana against Barbados and St. Kitts & Nevis against Trinbago, respectively.

There will be a cricket clinic and practice sessions in the days leading up to the main events.

Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium is located at 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill and tickets can be purchased online or at  the Ticket Office at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, located next to the Park.

Tickets are on sale from Monday to Friday (10am-5pm) and on Saturday (12 – 4pm) to enable fans to physically buy tickets in advance of the biggest party in sport this summer.

Hero CPL join Jamaica Tallawahs stars to preview Central Broward Regional Park

Jamaica Tallawahs stars Kumar Sangakkara, Rovman Powell, Chadwick Walton and Coach Paul Nixon conducted a coaching clinic, in association with the International Cricket Council, for 150 children in Central Broward Regional Park on Friday (July 22)  morning.

Hero CPL CEO Damien O’Donohoe was also joined by City of Lauderhill Mayor Richard J. Kaplan and Broward County Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness to discuss the opportunities for growth of West Indies and American cricket.
