“WHO’S WHO” In Caribbean leadership set to headline sixth annual Caribbean MBA Conference

TRINIDAD, Port Of Spain – The Harvard Business School’s Caribbean Business Club and CARIBIZ-Wharton will host the sixth annual Caribbean MBA Conference in Trinidad from January 2nd-7th, 2008.

This year’s conference titled “Regionalization and Economic Diversification – Expanding our Share of the Global Economy” will feature some of the most prominent members in Caribbean Leadership today.

The keynote speakers are a veritable who’s who of Caribbean leaders who will speak on a diversity of topics and areas affecting the Caribbean. The Honorable Patrick Manning, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago; Mr. Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, Secretary General of the Caribbean Tourism Organization; Gervase Warner, Executive Chairman of Neal and Massy Energy Business Unit; and Kenneth Hynes, Director of Operations of the OTF group have all been confirmed for this year’s event.

“This event promises to bring together some of the brightest and most successful minds from the Caribbean to tackle some of our biggest challenges and provide future entrepreneurs with a solid vision and foundation for the region for the next two decades” states Damany Gibbs, co-organizer of this year’s conference.

Along with the list of featured speakers, the conference will also host a series of panels focused on a wide range of subjects that are emerging as critical needs for the Caribbean.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear experts from the field of Energy, Capital and Financial Markets, Entrepreneurship and the Single Market Economy. The week long event will culminate with the Business Leader’s Dinner where attendees will be presented with an excellent opportunity to interact with Trinidad’s most successful business leaders in a relaxed social setting.
