Mwe financial cu logoARGATE – First-time homebuyers seeking financing and individuals seeking to refinance existing properties won’t want to miss We Florida Financial’s free mortgage seminar on Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Margate Branch located at 1982 N. State Road 7.

Brenda Willis (MLO# 995717), We Florida Financial’s mortgage loan officer, will host the workshop and discuss how and why financing with a credit union can save time and money. The seminar will also feature a panel of experts including Tina Ingram of United Realty Group and Steve Straley of Action Title. Attendees can also schedule appointments for in-depth mortgage counseling.

Recent United States Census Bureau statistics show that between July 1, 2013, and July 1, 2014, Florida contained seven of the nation’s top 50 fastest growing metro areas. Certain areas in the state accounted for more than three-quarters of the state’s population gain over the period. In fact, the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach area, alone, had a one-year gain of about 66,000 people. Other regions with substantial growth include Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford (about 50,000); Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater (about 41,000); Jacksonville (about 23,000); Cape Coral-Fort Myers (about 18,000); North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton (about 16,000) and Lakeland-Winter Haven (about 11,000).
