MIAMI GARDENS – The Victoria Mutual Building Society, through its Representative Office in South Florida, will host a Community Forum and Cocktail Reception under the theme: “Your Jamaica: Overcoming the Challenges in 2010 and Beyond.” The aim of the forum is to engage members of the Diaspora in a discussion on the current economic situation and the possible implications of the Jamaica Debt Exchange Programme and the IMF agreement.
The Community Forum will be held on Tuesday, March 30 starting at 6 p.m. at the Signature Grand Hotel in Davie with guest speaker, Joseph Matalon, President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ).

Representative Office to be officially opened
The Official Ribbon Cutting and Dedication Ceremony for the Representative Office will also be held on Tuesday March 30 at 10: 30 a.m. at Suite 21461, County Square Shopping Center, 21461 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami Gardens, FL 33169.
Government/Community Officials, including Jamaica’s General Consul to Florida, Mrs. Sandra Grant-Griffith, Senior Executives of Victoria Mutual, Members and Customers will be in attendance.
