Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) makes donation to Jamaica Ex-police Association of Florida

MIAMI GARDENS – Members of the Jamaica Ex-Police Association of Florida, Inc. Malachi Smith, President and Dervin Johnson, Chairman recently met with Suzette Rochester, Manager, Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) – Florida Representative Office to discuss the plans associated with the Adopt a Basic School and Refurbishing Projects in Jamaica.

Fair Prospect Basic School and the Castle Police Station in Portland are the beneficiaries of the donation offered by VMBS.

Members of the Jamaican Ex-Police Association and VMBS (Jamaica) will visit the school and interract with the students in story-telling; reading; role plays, as well as provide prizes for various disciplines. Copies of the Jamaican National Pledge will also be provided for each student.

In addition, the Police Station will enjoy the installation of a water tank extension and pressure pump, which are much needed amenities.
