U.S. franchisors to participate in The Bahamas Franchise Conference and Expo

NASSAU, The Bahams – The United States Embassy, in partnership with the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and the Bahamas Development Bank, will sponsor the Bahamas Franchise Conference and Expo on February 25-26 at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel.

On Monday, February 25, U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Dr. Brent Hardt, President of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, Dionisio D’Aguilar and Darron Cash, Chairman of the Bahamas Development Bank will address the conference.

Dr. John Hayes, franchise expert, Adam Ogden, founder and CEO of JUICEBLENDZ, along with the other presenters will provide a one-day session on the basics of starting and running a successful franchise.

Franchising is a tried, tested and proven business model and the Embassy hopes the Conference and Expo will encourage potential Bahamian entrepreneurs to take the plunge into the world of franchising. The franchise exhibits will be open to the general public.

A number of U.S. franchisors will participate in the event and are seeking entrepreneurs in The Bahamas. While franchising is not a new concept in The Bahamas, there is room for more business persons to buy and operate franchise operations. Not only will business owners become stakeholders in a proven enterprise, but all of the logistics and training required to make the business successful are part of a franchise package.
