New York, NY – Earlier this month, Senator Kevin Parker of the 21st District presented His Excellency Dr. Neil Parsan, Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago to the United States of America, with a Senatorial Proclamation in honour of Trinidad and Tobago’s 49th Anniversary of Independence, at a reception hosted by one of Trinidad and Tobago’s prominent community leaders in New York, Ms. Hazra Ali.
Senator Parker represents the ethnically diverse 21st District that consists of 311,000 constituents in Flatbush, East Flatbush and Borough Park, amongst other areas. Several other elected officials and community leaders were also in attendance at the event that afforded those present the opportunity to interact with Ambassador Parsan and Senator Parker one-on-one.
