Trinidad and Tobago’s Trade & Investment Convention has big plans for 10th Anniversary

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – TIC 2009 is the flagship inward trade mission of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA), and is sponsored by T&T’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT), and First Citizens. The Convention takes place from June 24th to 27th, 2009, at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya, Trinidad.

This year, the Trade & Investment Convention will celebrate its Tenth Anniversary on and, if TIC 2008 is anything to go by, it’s bound to be the biggest business event of the year! TIC 2008, held from April 30-May 3, 2008 at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Trinidad and Tobago, was a resounding success, setting new records for the number of exhibitors and buyers, and generating more positive feedback from attendees and higher levels of reporting from the news media than ever before.

The biggest business to business event for the year will take place over four days once again. The first three days of TIC – (June 24th – June 26th) are restricted to the business community only (B2B), which allows exhibitors and buyers to focus on business to business transactions. The fourth and last day – (June 27th) – is open to the public (B2C – Business-to-Consumer) which provides an excellent opportunity for market testing, sampling and research.
