PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – The Honourable Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has, on behalf of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, sent a Coast Guard Vessel of relief supplies to the people of St. Vincent.
Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar and Prime Minister Ralph Gonzalves have been in regular communication since Hurricane Tomas hit the island of St. Vincent.

On Thursday 4th November, the St. Vincent Prime Minister sent a list of urgently needed supplies after Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar communicated this country’s willingness to assist the hurricane devastated island.
Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar would like to thank the local private sector for their tremendous assistance in partnering with the government of Trinidad and Tobago in the timely delivery of aid to affected islands.
