Tobago Announces the Return of Non-Stop Delta Service

TOBAGO, West Indies – The island of Tobago is pleased to announce the return of weekly non-stop service on Delta Airlines beginning December 20, 2008. The carrier will offer much needed airlift service to Tobago from the United States and will give travelers a chance to enjoy the destination’s pristine tropical surroundings and distinct culture this winter travel season.

“The new airlift service provided by Delta will restore a vital air link from the United States for Tobagonians and visitors to the destination,” said Neil Wilson, Tobago House of Assembly Tourism Secretary. “This very important addition to airlift option reflects our commitment to our rapidly growing market in Tobago. It allows travelers from the US to by-pass the previously required stop-over and possible overnight in Trinidad.”

Starting December 20, Flight 441 will depart Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 3:40 p.m. on Saturdays and arrive Tobago’s Crown Point International Airport at 9:14 p.m. Flight 442 will depart Tobago’s Crown Point International Airport on Sundays at 9:05 a.m. and arrive Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 1:14 p.m. For reservations and more information, visit www.delta.com.
