The Richie Richardson Cricket Academy Launched at World Travel Market
ANTIGUA – West Indies cricket legend Richie Richardson has launched the Richie Richardson Cricket Academy at the World Travel Market in London. This exciting new venture will be the catalyst for the development of young cricketers from Antigua & Barbuda, the West Indies and worldwide.
The Academy will focus heavily on the side of Sports Tourism by inviting schools and clubs from the UK and the world over, which will no doubt significantly add to the Academy’s overall development.
The following cricketing greats will be joining Richie at the Richie Richardson Cricket Academy: Curtly Ambrose, Kenny Benjamin and Ridley Jacobs. Other West Indies Cricketing Greats will, from time to time, be invited to do specialized sessions.

Richie is partnering with Oliver Turnbull of Turnbull Holdings, who will play a vital role in the Commercial and Operational aspects of the Academy. Oliver will also assist the coaches and provide additional student management.
Virgin Holidays will arrange flights and accommodations for the visiting students from the UK.
The Academy is endorsed by: the Antigua & Barbuda Ministry of Tourism and Culture, and the Ministry of Education, Sports, Youth and Gender Affairs.
