The Miami-Dade Chamber Of Commerce Celebrates Its 3rd Annual Holiday Gala

MIAMI – The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce will host its 3rd Annual Holiday Gala, “Diving into an Ocean of Opportunities,” on Saturday December 6, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Miami. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. Dinner and award ceremony will follow at 8:00pm.

The Gala will honor the accomplishments of professionals and businesses in the South Florida community. The “oceanic” themed social event of the season is expected to draw over 700 of South Florida’s savviest and most successful business minds.

Among the festivities, the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce will honor three of South Florida’s Black business and philanthropic leaders.

The honorees are Civil Rights Attorney H.T Smith, the first African-American Assistant Public Defender and the first African-American Assistant County Attorney in Miami.

Comedian, Huggy Lowdown, of HOT 105 and the Tom Joyner Morning Show, will be the evening’s special guest.
