SOUTH FLORIDA – Miami-Broward Carnival/Mardi Gras Parade 2015 will be held on Sunday, October 11th at Miami-Dade Fairgrounds next to FIU Miami campus.
When you hear the word “CARNIVAL” what comes to mind? Costumes! Music! Parties! Steel Pan! Fun Times! Great Memories! Picture one event with all these elements plus more and it isn’t even Miami Carnival yet!
On June 6th 2015, Generation X, the largest masquerade band in Florida, will kick off Miami-Broward Carnival 2015 with the unveiling of its presentation, “The Spirit of Carnival”. This Carnival Band Launch will be hosted at the Blue Ribbon Room in the Goode Building at the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds. As always, beautiful models adorned in intricately designed costumes will grace the stage depicting the key elements of Carnival in an explosion of color and creativity embodying “The Spirit of Carnival”.
