Washington, D.C. – On the 52nd anniversary of the famous “I Have a Dream” speech and the March on Washington, The Memorial Foundation, the builders of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall is proud the launch an inspiring campaign entitled, Celebrate the Dream…Share the Dream, which will cover a 90 day period. This unique digital social media campaign will allow anyone based in the U.S. and around the globe to share their thoughts and reflections about Dr. King, the March on Washington and one of the world’s most powerful and inspiring speech. This engaging campaign will allow many to express through in their own words what the speech means to them and their family in 2015.

By going to the Memorial Foundation’s web site, www.theMemorialFoundation.org, visitors will able to record a message via audio or video and/or write a personal message or poem that reflects Dr. King’s historical message of justice, hope, democracy & love.

“We are more than enthused to launch this engaging and immersive campaign, which will allow many Americans and our friends in any corner of the world to share their personal thoughts and reflections in honor of the legacy of D. With the likes of pressing social issues related to Trayvon Martin, Ferguson, and the recent tragedy in Charleston, S.C., as well as the removal of the Confederate flag and social unrest in many places around the globe, what better time to highlight the words and of Dr. King’s speech and honor his work promoting justice, hope, democracy and love for all.
