The City of Miramar and Memorial Hospital Miramar Present Miramar’s 60th Birthday Celebration with Fred Hammond and J Moss!

MIRAMAR – The City of Miramar and Memorial Hospital Miramar present Miramar’s 60th birthday celebration with three days of family fun, activities and FREE concerts May 14-16, 2015.

The festivities kick off at Miramar Regional Park, 16801 Miramar Parkway, with Employee & Family Fun Night, Thursday, May 14th at 6pm. Enjoy mini carnival rides, games, live music & local bakeries in the Design…Bake..Let us Eat your Cake Contest.

Community Night follows Friday, May 15th at Shirley Branca Park, 6900 Miramar Parkway. Contemporary gospel recording artist J Moss performs live, plus see different high/middle schools perform their original compositions of the Miramar Birthday Song and find out which elementary students will take home a prize for their artwork in the Future of Miramar Art Contest.

The grand celebration culminates Saturday, May 16th at Miramar Regional Park with live performances by gospel recording superstar Fred Hammond, R&B crooner Carl Thomas, renowned Latin music star Tito Puentes, Jr., Code RED, Jimmy Bo Horne & the South Florida Allstars, 33 Years and the Spam Allstars. Pyrotechnics light up the night skyline as thousands say Happy Birthday Miramar!
