The Business District Opens Serviced Offices in Kingston, Jamaica

Kingston, Jamaica – Located on the outskirts of New Kingston at 22b Old Hope Road, The Business District recently opened the only Serviced Office complex in Jamaica, featuring an innovative concept in flexible office accommodation, virtual offices and business services.

The brainchild of well-known business executives Maria Jones and Marjorie Fyffe Campbell, The Business District is designed to meet the needs of local and overseas – businesses and professionals, small business operators, businesses in transition, home-based businesses, consultants engaged in short term projects, start-up companies, as well as international firms establishing a foothold in Kingston.

The Serviced Office concept delivers access to furnished offices, conference room, receptionist and administrative support team, all at a fraction of what it would cost to set up an individual office. With flexible leases, clients may choose to use the services on a weekly, daily or hourly basis, and may also select monthly or long-term rental contracts.

Virtual Office packages allow clients to project a professional image without a physical office, and include a prominent business address, a unique telephone number, mail and fax management, and a virtual assistant to manage calls and messages. Clients can choose the Classic Virtual Business package or have a customized package as needed.

“Our philosophy is Office Your Way, the essence of which is business agility, so our clients can move quickly on their ideas and pay only for the services they need”, said Maria Jones, Managing Director. “We are particularly proud to play our role in facilitating foreign investors and other businesses as we offer our overseas clients a cost effective way to conduct business in Jamaica without a significant capital outlay”.

The Business District has cutting edge communications technology including wireless Internet access, web conferencing and VOIP cloud telephony, and provides the added security of electronic surveillance and electronic access.

Key business tools are available including laptop computers, e-mail accounts, virtual conferencing, and multi-media projectors. Clients also have access to specialised professional services from associate companies, such as accounting, company registration, marketing and financial reporting.

The Business District’s Executive Director, Marjorie Fyffe Campbell said, “We are aware that there is a significant interest in flexible, high quality serviced office accommodation to give a professional backdrop for businesses on the move. This concept is well entrenched in the world’s leading business centers and with Kingston being a pivotal Caribbean business destination, we provide the perfect facility for companies and individuals to expand their global business reach in the most efficient way.”
