T.C. and Capleton premiere video

NEW YORK – Hip-hop newcomer T.C. and reggae heavyweight Capleton are excited at the video debut of their cross-culture collaboration titled “Bounce.” A rap infused reggae joint, the video sees the same flava as street dancers put their freestyle skills on display, while a carnival-esque fire-eater is put into the mix.

T.C., the son of Jamaican immigrants, was born in Brooklyn, New York and projects the enivitable influence of dancehall music into his hip-hop/R&B tunes. With a focused effort of touching base with his Jamaican roots, his production team at Upliftment Records – a Connecticut-based label – knew they had to team up with a reggae dancehall legend such as Capleton.

The single has been receiving steady airplay across Jamaica for the past months and is catching on in other parts of the world, including the U.K., Germany and Japan. With the video now entering rotation across the Caribbean and in core reggae markets internationally, the sounds of T.C. are sure to hit worldwide ears shortly. The video was directed by Rhona Fox and shot on location in Brooklyn, NY. (RHONA FOX, INC.)
