Sunrise Airways Sponsors Turks & Caicos Mission to Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – Sunrise Airways (IATA: S6), a new start-up airline based in Port-au-Prince, is sponsoring a Turks & Caicos trade mission to Haiti August 9-13 as part of a comprehensive effort toward strengthening business ties between the countries. The mission comes as Sunrise enters the final stages of securing necessary approvals to begin scheduled flights between Cap Haitien and Providenciales later this year.

A total of 17 Turks & Caicos business leaders and government officials are participating in the trade mission. Delegation members are as follows:

Over the course of their stay in Haiti the delegation will travel to Cap Haitien and Port-au-Prince to take part in business meetings with private and public sector officials representing Haiti’s tourism, transportation, agriculture, investment, and industrial industries. They’ll also visit several of Haiti’s leading tourist attractions, including the Citadelle, the Haitian Money Museum, Boutiliers Observatory, the Museum of Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH), and the Rhum Barbancourt Distillery.
